Breath Bomb Garlic Bread

Here is my favorite garlic bread recipe. It’s my favorite for two reasons. First and formost, it tastes amazing. Secondly, because it’s SO easy to make. Another one of those high ratios of easy prep and maximum praise.

A good garlic bread is always the unsung hero of any meal. Over cook the pasta? Fear not, garlic bread is here to save the day. Sauce too watery? Act like you did it on purpose so your foodie minions could sop it up with your amazing garlic bread. Seriously…unsung hero.

Prep time: 10 minutes

Bake time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • One loaf soft French or Italian bread (bought from the bakery section at your supermarket)
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 6-8 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh chopped Italian parsley
Baking instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut loaf of bread in half horizontally.
2. In a microwave safe dish, add butter and minced garlic. Heat on high for 1 minute in microwave until butter is melted.
3. With a pastry brush, brush garlic butter over both loaves until well coated.
4. Salt and pepper each open face lightly.
5. Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on each side.
6. Bake until outside starts to crisp, then set oven to broil for last two minutes. This will give you the nice crip edges, but still leave the inside soft and fluffy.
7. Stay indoors for the rest of the day so as not to assault anyone with your amazing garlic breath.
